Aims and scope

The Egyptian Journal of Internal Medicine (EJIM) is the official journal of the Egyptian Society of Internal Medicine an open access, peer reviewed journal that covers clinical, technical, ethical and social issues in all fields of internal medicine including Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Infections, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Hematology and Vascular Diseases. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.

The journal publishes invited articles on clinical issues relevant to internal medicine, in the form of, Research Articles, Review Articles, Case Reports, Letters to the Editor and Guidelines.

Our audience includes clinicians at all levels of training, post-doctoral internists, internists in different subspecialties and family doctors.

The Egyptian Journal of Internal Medicine is an online-only journal and its print ISSN (1110-7782) is ceased.
